PARAM SHAVAK Supercomputing Facility

Note: If you want to create a new user on HPC then send a request to cc@nitdelhi.ac.in.

How to access PARAM shavak from other systems (Through LAN):

Param Shavak IP: 10.10.10.200

Linux based systems:

  1. Open the command terminal.
  2. ssh to PARAMshavak (e.g., ssh ip_address_of_PARAMshavak)
  3. Enter username and password. (provided by CC upon request)

Windows-based systems:

  1. Download ssh clients (MobaXterm or PuTTY).
  2. Open it.
  3. Enter the IP address of PARAMshavak in the new session tab.
  4. Enter username and password. (provided by CC upon request)

NOTE: If any faculty/students want to install software on Param Shavak, they may ask the Computer Centre Person.

  • 2 numbers of accelerator cards
  • 3 Tera-Flops peak computing power with 8 TB of storage
  • Easy to deploy solution with no additional datacenter infrastructure
  • Pre-loaded with parallel programming development tools and libraries
  • Preinstalled tools for scheduling and resource management
  • Video Tutorials, learning materials and user manuals etc.
  • Indigenous HPC portal - CHReME
  • Indigenous applications interface – Onama (File Format: .pdf, File Size: 4.23 MB, Date: 24/02/2016)
