Clairvoyance - The Visual Memory of NIT Delhi
Founded in 2014, Clairvoyance is the official Photography and Film Club of NIT Delhi. Entrusted as the institute’s designated media body, we document, preserve, and shape the visual narrative of campus life.
Over the years, the club has evolved into a structured creative collective - blending photography, cinematography, editing, and design into a unified production ecosystem. From convocations to cultural and sports festivals, we have documented over 270+ institutional events.
Beyond documentation, we conceptualize and produce aftermovies, short films, creative campaigns, and digital media projects that reflect the ambition and energy of the NIT Delhi community.
Our Evolution
What began as a small photography initiative has transformed into a full-fledged creative institutionwithin the campus.
Today, Clairvoyance leads several flagship initiatives:
- Freshers’ Introduction Films - annual cinematic productions welcoming new batches since 2016
- Radiance - an 8-day creative festival featuring workshops, competitions, and exhibitions
- Delhi Photowalks bringing together 90+ photographers across the city
- Curated movie screenings and hands-on technical workshops
- Structured in-house cinematic productions
With the launch of our first narrative film production, the club has expanded from documentation into production-led storytelling - redefining the role of a student media body within an engineering institute.
